Who IS DRAUGHT HORSE?
My name is Kevin Wernicke. I am the owner and operator of Draught Horse. I’m a graduate of Niagara College’s Brewmaster program, and my passion for craft beverages has guided my journey ever since. After moving to Prince Edward Island, I had the privilege of working at some of the island’s standout breweries, including Copper Bottom, Upstreet, and Bogside. Those experiences deepened my knowledge of beer, cider, RTDs, and the care that goes into every pour.
While working part time at Upstreet, I started Draught Horse as a small draught line cleaning service, driven by my commitment to keeping craft beverages tasting their absolute best. What began as a side project has now grown into my full-time business, and I’m proud to help bars, restaurants, breweries, and cideries across PEI serve fresh, perfectly poured beer, cider, and RTDs while supporting the local craft beverage community.
